'Deepika Padukone Would've Become Top Player If She Played Badminton': PV Sindhu Praises Actress [Watch]

PV Sindhu said that Deepika Padukone would emerge as a top player if she played badminton.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone recently played a badminton match with Tokyo Olympic Bronze medalist PV Sindhu. The ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ star took to social media to share a glimpse of their practice session. Deepika, who is the daughter of veteran badminton player Prakash Padukone, revealed that Sindhu is preparing for the World Championships. 

PV Sindhu Lauds Deepika Padukone 

In her video, DP said, “She is practicing for World Championships and she thought I am the best partner to prepare her.” The ‘Padmaavat’ actress had a blast while playing a badminton match with the ace shuttler.  

Sindu was all praises for the ‘Piku’ actress after playing a game with her. “If she would’ve played badminton, she would’ve become a top player,” the 26-year-old said. 

Deepika asked her fans to guess who won the match while sharing the video on Instagram. Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages.

The 'Chhapaak' actress had earlier shared pictures and videos from her badminton practice session with Sindhu. "Just a regular day in my life…Burning calories with @pvsindhu1," the caption for the post read.

Ranveer Singh had dropped a cute comment on the post. The 'Gully Boy' actor wrote, "MAJOR FOMO ATTACK!"

 Deepika Padukone To Play PV Sindhu In Her Biopic? 

Their recent outings have added fuel to the rumours, which suggested that the actress might play the lead role in PV Sindhu’s biopic. DeepVeer were recently spotted on a dinner date with the badminton star in Mumbai. Ranveer shared a photo with his wife and Sindhu wherein the trio can be seen flashing their smiles. He caption his post as, "Smashing time!"

Deepika Padukone's Upcoming Films

The leggy lass has several exciting projects in her kitty including 'Pathan', 'Fighter', Shakun Batra's yet-to-be titled film, Nag Ashwin's next and the Hindi remake of 'The Intern'.

She will share screen-space with Hrithik Roshan for the first time in Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter'. The film, which has been touted as India's first aerial action franchise, will hit the silver screens in 2023.
