Amazon Prime's 'CU Soon' Twitter REVIEW: Movie Buffs Give Thumbs Up To Fahadh Faasil Starrer, Call It 'Gripping'

New Delhi: Fahadh Faasil starrer ‘CU Soon’ premiered on Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday (September 1). The movie has been making waves ever since the trailer was unveiled last month. The mystery thriller co-starring Roshan Mathew and Darshana Rajendran has received a good response from the fans on social media. Movie buffs have given thumbs up to ‘CU Soon’, which was shot during the COVID-19 lockdown without any fancy equipment. The makers shot the film using IPhone in a span of 18 days. ‘CU Soon’ focused on the intriguing mystery where a software engineer from Kerala helps his Dubai-based cousin in finding his missing fiancée, who leaves behind a suicide note-video. Fahad Fazil played the role of Kevin Thomas while Roshan Mathew was seen as his cousin Jimmy Kurien. Actress Darshana Rajendran essayed the character of Anumol Sebastian, Jimmy’s fiancée. Interestingly, both Malayalam and non-Malayalam speaking audience have praised the film on Twitter. The netizens appreciated ‘CU Soon’ for its gripping storyline and impeccable performances of the actors. "Again, how is Malayalam Cinema so good! 'CU Soon' has been directed by Mahesh Narayanan, who has also edited the film. Fahad Fazil, who is known for his power-packed performance, has collaborated with Mahesh for the second time after 'Malik'. The upcoming film was slated to hit the silver screens in April 2020 but it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. 'CU Soon' promises to keep the viewers of the edge of the seats. The movie, who was shot entirely during the lockdown, is available for streaming Amazon Prime Video.
