Critics' Choice Film Awards 2020: Hamid In The Running for Best Writing Award With Gully Boy And Article 15

National Award-winning film Hamid has been nominated for 'Best Writing Award' for the Critics' Choice Film Awards 2020.

New Delhi: Yoodlee Films has always emphasised the strength of an engaging story good powerful writing over anything else with every film that has come out of their stable. Recent releases like Hamid and KD stand as proof of this as both the films have been nominated for Best Writing in their respective languages in the Critic's Choice Awards. In the running against popular films like Gully Boy and Article 15, the national award winning Hamid has been nominated for Best Writing - Hindi while Yoodlee's other film KD competes for Best Writing - Tamil. One of the most celebrated award functions in our country, the Critic's Choice Awards honors Indian films across languages, genres and themes.

Starring Rasika Dugal, Vikas Kumar, Sumit Kaul and Talha Arshad Reshi in pivotal roles, ‘Hamid’ explores the unlikely bond between an eight-year-old boy, named Hamid and a CRPF Jawan – who find each other in the most trying of circumstances. They form a relationship that helps them find redemption and closure through dialogue.

KD, is a story of friendship and love that revolves around the life of an old villager Karuppadurrai who finds a friend in an young orphan - Kutty. They set out to complete a bucket list of activities and discover the true meaning of life in the process
