‘Churake Dil Mera 2.0’: Shilpa Shetty Pays An Ode To Late Saroj Khan, Fans Miss Akshay Kumar

Much to everyone’s anticipation, Shilpa Shetty shared the remixed version of ‘Churake Dil Mera’ on her social media, which stars herself and Meezaan. But fans seem to miss Akshay Kumar.

Mumbai: Bollywood diva Shilpa Shetty Kundra is coming up with her next film ‘Hungama 2’ on July 23, 2021. Co-starring Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jaffrey, Ashutosh Rana, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever and others, this film will premiere on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar. Ever since the makers released the trailer of ‘Hungama 2’, fans have been eagerly waiting to watch Shilpa Shetty recreate ‘Churake Dil Mera’ once again, as the trailer shared a glimpse of the song.

Much to everyone’s anticipation, Shilpa Shetty shared the remixed version of ‘Churake Dil Mera’ on her social media, which stars herself and Meezaan. The ‘Hungama 2’ stars can be seen recreating the magic of this iconic song.

Shilpa paid a tribute to the choreographer of the original version Saroj Khan while sharing the post on her social media. She also said that she missed Akshay Kumar and wrote, “Here it is, OLD wine in a NEW Bottle Missed the OG @akshaykumar, but #Filhaal, it’s time to steal meezaanj’s heart #ChuraKeDilMera 2.0 song is out now! An ode from all of us to late #SarojKhan ji... thank you, @brinda_gopal master @anumalikmusic for keeping the soul intact #Hungama2”.

As soon as the song was released, it started trending on Twitter. While some people were praising Shilpa Shetty for her excellent dance moves, some fans missed Akshay Kumar just like Shilpa did. Netizens also lashed out at the makers of this song for not being able to live up to the expectations.

Meanwhile, the trailer of ‘Hungama 2’ also started a meme fest on the microblogging site as it could not impress the audience.

Reportedly, Akshaye Khanna, who portrayed the lead character in the 2003 film ‘Hungama’ will make a special appearance in this movie.
