Ranbir Kapoor tests positive for Coronavirus: Last year in December, while shooting for her upcoming movie ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’ in Chandigarh, Neetu Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19. The actress was then brought back to Mumbai by air ambulance. Now, her son and Bollywood hearth-throb Ranbir Kapoor has also tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently under quarantine and taking all the precautionary measures.
Neetu Kapoor took to her Instagram and confirmed the news of Ranbir contracting Coronavirus. She posted a picture of Ranbir and wrote, "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well . He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions 🙏"
Reportedly, Alia Bhatt has quarantined herself after her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' director Sanjay Leela Bhansali director tested positive for COVID-19. A source close to the 'RRR' actress revealed, "Alia is completely safe and nothing has happened to her."
To know the exact situation of the ‘Brahmastra’ actor’s health, when we contacted Randhir Kapoor on Monday night, he did not give a direct answer to our questions. However, Randhir Kapoor told ABP News, “I am currently in Jaipur and you should not ask these questions to me, rather you should ask Ranbir’s mother Neetu about it. I will not be able to say anything about it.”
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen starring in Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' which also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in titular roles. He will also be seen starring in 'Animal' and 'Shamshera'. The 'Sanju' actor also has Luv Ranjan's untitled film with Shraddha Kapoor in his kitty.
