Blackbuck Poaching Case: Jodhpur Court To Reject Salman Khan’s Bail If He Misses Next Hearing

Jodhpur court warned Salman Khan that if he failed to appear in the next hearing, his bail would be rejected.

New Delhi: The hearing of Bollywood star Salman Khan's appeal against Rajasthan High Court's verdict in the blackbuck poaching case was held on Thursday (July 4) at Jodhpur court. However, the 53-year-old actor was not present for the hearing. The court warned the ‘Bharat’ actor that if he failed to appear in the next hearing, his bail would be rejected, as per news agency ANI. The court, on June 17, had acquitted Khan in a case of submission of a fake affidavit in connection with the poaching case. Salman was convicted and sentenced to five years imprisonment last year in the blackbuck poaching case. The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actor was found guilty of killing two blackbucks in Jodhpur during the shooting of 'Hum Saath Saath Hain'. However, he was granted bail after he spent two nights at the Jodhpur Central jail. The 'Dabangg' star had challenged Rajasthan High Court's decision by appealing to the Sessions Court. On the professional front, Salman Khan will be next seen in 'Dabangg 3'. His last release 'Bharat' has collected over Rs 200 crore at the domestic box office.
