Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited film ‘BellBottom’ has hit the silver screens on Thursday (August 9). The espionage spy thriller has managed to receive a good response from the audience upon its release at the box office. ‘BellBottom’ is the first major film to release in the cinema halls after the last quarter was severely affected by the second wave of the COVID-19 in India.
Khiladi Kumar’s new film has earned rave reviews from the critics and audience. Fans, who have watched the early morning and afternoon shows of the movie, have given thumbs up to the makers.

The 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India' star appreciated Akshay for releasing his film in the theatres and congratulated him for the good reviews for 'BellBottom'.

Can BellBottom Revive Bollywood?
Trade pundits are expecting the film to perform decent at the box office as the buzz surrounding 'BellBottom' is at an all-time high. The trailer and the songs of the film have resonated well with the audience. The first day box office collection of 'BellBottom' will be released on Friday (August 20).
‘BellBottom’, which has been directed by Ranjit M Tiwari, also stars Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles. It was the first Bollywood film to be shot in Scotland amid the COVID-19 crisis. The film is based on a hijacking incident in the 80s.
