As Raanjhanaa Completes 10 Years, Aanand L Rai Announces 'Tere Ishq Mein' Featuring Dhanush

New Delhi: As 'Raanjhanaa' completes 10 years today, Anand L Rai announced another film starring Tamil superstar Dhanush in the lead. The teaser promo announced the title of the film as 'Tere Ishq Mein' featuring Dhanush running with a bottle which is lit and thrown at the title of 'Raanjhanaa' to reveal the title of the upcoming project. Anand L Rai has given Dhanush fans a reason to rejoice. 

Taking to his official Instagram handle, Anand L Rai shared the 'Tere Ishq Mein' title announcement with a teaser and a heartfelt note that read, "Kuch kahaniyan kisi purane dost jaisi mil jaati hain! Jo haath nahin milaati, seedhe aake gale lag jaati hain…10 saal pehle ek aisi hi kahani mili thi humein... Kundan ki kahani. Dost tha mera, par jee naa saka... uska mood nahi tha jeena ka! Ab 10 saal baad phir ek kissa aaya hai; Kundan aur ye ladka ek se hi hain, bus iska mood duniya phoonk dene ka hai! Sirf aapke liye…’Tere Ishk Mein’." ( Some stories meet like old friends. They don't shake hands but meet with an embrace. I found such a story 10 years ago, the story of Kundan. Kundan was a friend of mine who could not live. He was not in a mood to live! Now, after 10 years, I have found another story. Kundan and this man are similar but this one is more interested in burning the world down. Only for you 'Tere Ishk Mein".

Aanad L Rai also spoke about how special 'Raanjhanaa' is for him. "There couldn't be a more perfect day to unveil our next venture, 'Tere Ishk Mein,' with Dhanush. 'Raanjhanaa' holds a special place in my heart, and the love and adoration it continues to receive from fans worldwide is truly heartwarming."

While Dhanush as lead cast has been confirmed, rest of the cast still needs to be announced. Aanand L Rai will be reuniting with AR Rahman for the music of the film. 'Tere Ishq Mein' has been written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav and produced by Himanshu Sharma.

Meanwhile, Raanjhanaa starred Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol and Dhanush in the lead. The film marked Dhanush's Bollywood debut and how. Dhanush's performance was appreciated by all; critics and audiences alike. Teh Tamil superstar became a sensation after his performance in the love triangle film which portrayed him as a young Pandit boy ( Brahmin) involved in a love triangle with a Muslim girl( played by Sonam) and a Sikh man( Abhay Deol).
