Anurag Kashyap #MeToo Row: Payal Ghosh Claims Director Lied Before Police, Demands Narco Analysis, Lie Detector Test

Anurag Kashyap was summoned by the police and was called in for questioning on October 1 where he denied all the allegations and charges made against him by Payal Ghosh.

New Delhi: Actress Payal Ghosh recently alleged Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual harassment and claimed that the ‘Dev D’ director got naked in front of her and forced himself on her. On September 22, Payal Ghosh has filed a written complaint against the filmmaker at Mumbai’s Versova Police station under various sections 376, 354, 341, 342 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).  The filmmaker was summoned by the police and was called in for questioning on October 1 where he denied all the allegations and charges made against him by Payal Ghosh. Kashyap’s lawyer Priyanka Khimani also released a long statement where she claimed that the ‘Black Friday’ director is distressed with the false and reckless allegations made against him. The statement further added that Anurag has been seeking for taking severe action against Payal Ghosh for misusing the criminal justice system. Payal Ghosh, however, recently took to her Twitter and claimed that the ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ director has lied before the police. The actress also demanded to conduct Narco analysis, lie detector and polygraph test of the director to find out the truth. Anurag Kashyap has been questioned for more than 8 hours by the police in relation to the case. Many Bollywood celebrities also came out in support of the director including Taapsee Pannu, Anubhav Sinha, Tisca Chopra, Hansal Mehta and others. Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Payal Ghosh, she revealed to ABP News that she knows she will not get any support from the industry while Anurag Kashyap will, as he provides bread and butter to many.
