Anurag Basu's Metro..In Dino Release Date Announced; Sequel To Be Out In March 2024

'Metro...In Dino,' a romantic drama, explores the hurdles of love and relationships in modern society.

New Delhi: The release date for the movie 'Metro..In Dino', directed by Anurag Basu, has been announced. The forthcoming movie will now hit theatres on March 29, 2024. 'Metro...In Dino,' a romantic drama, explores the hurdles of love and relationships in modern society as well as the many challenges of life.

Aditya Roy Kapoor, one of the actors in the film, shared the announcement on Instagram and wrote, #MetroInDino gets a Good Friday release. This anthology of heartwarming stories will now release on 29th March 2024."

The film's music is composed by Pritam, who also contributed to the 2007 drama's critically acclaimed prequel, 'Life In A Metro' and the film is directed by Anurag Basu.

Earlier, talking about the film, director Anurag Basu said, "Metro...I Dino is a tale of the people and for the people. It has been a while I am working on this one and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again who has always been like a pillar to me! The storyline is very fresh and relevant as I look forward to collaborating with amazing artists who bring that essence of contemporary aura with them. As music plays a very important role in any film, I couldn’t be more happy to be collaborating with my dear friend Pritam who has literally added life to the characters and story with his work.”  

Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh are among the ensemble cast members of the movie. 'Metro…In Dino' will be released by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in association with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt Ltd present and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu and Taani Basu.
