New Delhi: Triptii Dimri has become the 'national crush of 2023' with her performance in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Animal'. Despite having a small role in 'Animal', Triptii has been garnering a lot of attention for her performance in the film. Her chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor is appreciated by all. Triptii's presence in the film also led to a ten-fold increase in her social media following. Recently in an interaction with News 18, the actor spoke about working with Ranbir Kapoor and her intimate scenes with him.

Speaking to the publicatin, Triptii said, "I was so nervous around him (laughs). I only told him that he’s my favourite actor.”

She also lauded Ranbir Kapoor during the shoot of intimate scenes and said,"It really helps when you’ve a co-actor you can count on so much. You’ve to be comfortable performing those scenes. Sandeep (Reddy Vanga) sir, Ranbir and the DOP told me, ‘Every time you’re uncomfortable, you just have to let us know and we’ll make sure that that you don’t’,”

The ‘Qala’ actor further added, “It’s really important that you’re in an environment where people respect you as a person, your choices and what you’re doing at that particular moment and make it only about that and not anything else.”

Triptii Dimri also added that she 'didn't feel awkward' around the intimate scenes. "That scene was taken as lightly as any other scene in the film. They weren’t making a big deal out of it. We did it exactly the way we did other scenes. My comfort was taken care of. It was a part of the story."

Sharing, she didn't feel the need of an intimacy coordinator, she added, "As long as you’re comfortable with your co-actors and directors, it shouldn’t matter. But some people need them. It depends from person to person.”

Speaking about all the love she is receiving, Triptii added, "I was very nervous on the first day. I knew the film would do well but I wasn’t expecting this kind of a response for Zoya. I thought, ‘It’s a small role and it will come and go.’ But I wasn’t expecting to receive so much love or even be noticed. I haven’t been able to sleep."

Triptii Dimri will next be seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Aashiqui 3’.
