Adipurush Box Office Collection Day 7: Prabhas, Kriti Sanon Starrer Film Mints Rs 5.5 Crore

Even after the filmmakers changed a few dialogues in response to criticism, the movie's numbers have continued to decline.

New Delhi: After a spectacular opening weekend, 'Adipurush' starring Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh dipped down on weekdays. In all languages, Om Raut directed mythological drama's earnings are predicted to be just around Rs 5.5 crore. Even after the filmmakers changed a few dialogues in response to criticism, the movie's numbers have continued to decline.

On day 7, the movie brought in Rs 5.5 crore, according to a report on Sacnilk.com. This brings the film's total first-week domestic box office revenue in all languages to an estimated Rs 260.55 crore. However, the global earnings for 'Adipurush' has surpassed Rs 400 crore.

According to the most recent development, a Nepali court invalidated the ban on Hindi films on Thursday, including 'Adipurush', and asked the government not to stop any films from being screened that have been approved by the nation's censor board. Balendra Shah, the mayor of Kathmandu, announced a ban on all Hindi films after Sita is referred to as "India's daughter" in a conversation from the film.

The film review on ABP Live reads: One of the most crucial elements of a period drama or mythological movie is the style of speech used to set up the tone and era. The movie fails miserably in that department, to the point where even the scary and grave sequences are met with giggles. It is not on the shoulders of those watching.

In Om Raut's adaptation of the Ramayana, 'Adipurush', Prabhas plays Raghav, who is based on Rama, while Kriti Sanon plays Janaki, who is Sita, Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh, who is Ravana, Sunny Singh is Lakshman, and Devdutta Nage is Bajrang. The film hit theaters on June 16.
