Alok Nath reacts on Vinta Nanda's rape accusations; says, "Neither I am denying this nor would I agree with it"

Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta’s accusations of sexual harassment against Nana Patekar have sparked #MeToo campaign in India with women accusing several prominent personalities including known names like 'Queen' director Vikas BahlRajat Kapoorsinger Kailash KherAIB comedians Utsav Chakraborty, Gursimran Khamba among others. Recently Vinta Nanda, the producer-writer of various hit shows of 90’s including 'Tara', accused veteran actor Alok Nath of raping her twice 19 years ago. Now, the much-loved 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' actor has finally reacted on the rape allegations against him. It (rape) must have happened, but someone else would have done it. Well, I do not want to talk much about it as for the matter if it has come out, it will be stretched. Denying the rape accusations against him, Alok Nath thinks that all this has happened with him because of the ongoing #MeToo movement in India and added that, "However, we only have to hear to women's stand because they are considered weak." People will say anything to spoil the image. Leave my image, whatever has been said, it is absurd." He also spoke about his equation with his 'Tara' writer-producer and said, "At one time she used to be such a good friend... today she said such a big thing. In such a situation, it would be wrong to say anything."
