New Delhi: Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra' ever since Karan Johar announced the project. The science fiction film has been delayed several times in the past five years. The makers have finally provided an update about 'Brahmastra' on social media. They have planned a special event where they will launch the motion poster. 

Alia Bhatt, who will be seen opposite her boyfriend Ranbir, shared a video on her official Instagram handle to inform fans about the release date of the motion poster of 'Brahmastra'. The motion poster will be unveiled at a fan exclusive event. 

“Just as Ayan says: The time feels right! Come, step into the world of Brahmāstra with us on 15th December and be a part of this epic journey. Register now to meet us soon! Link in Bio,” the ‘Gully Boy’ actress wrote while sharing the video. 

Bhatt asked her fans to register for the event and gave the link for the same on her Instagram handle. Vijay Varma, Zoya Akhtar and other celebs dropped comments on the post. Check out the video!

Ranbir and Alia will be seen together for the first time on the silver screen in 'Brahmastra'. The film is being directed by Ayan Mukerji, who worked with Ranbir in 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and 'Wake Up Sid'.

Earlier this month, Ayan shared several behind-the-scene photos from the sets of the film. Fans had flooded the comments section with their messages. 

'Brahmastra' will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy in key roles.
