Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s son Aarav Bhatia has turned a year older on Wednesday (September 15). On the occasion of Aarav’s 19th birthday, Twinkle shared a picture with her son on social media. The actress-turned-author posted a photo with the birthday boy on her official Instagram handle along with a sweet note.  

Twinkle captioned her post, “My beautiful birthday.” The former actress and her son can be seen flashing their smiles while striking a pose for the camera. Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages and wishes. Check out her post!

Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna and Aarav recently jetted off to the United Kingdom where the ‘Rustom’ actor is shooting for his next film. The ‘PadMan’ star immediately returned to Mumbai after he was informed about his mother’s ill health. The ‘Housefull’ star, who is a thorough professional, decided to resume shooting after performing his mom’s last rites. 

Akshay's mother Aruna Bhatia passed away on September 8. He issued a statement to inform the fans about her demise. “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti,” his post read.

On the professional front, Akshay was recently seen in 'BellBottom', which released on August 19, 2021. The spy thriller co-starring Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor and Lara Dutta will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from September 16. 

Khiladi Kumar has several exciting projects in his kitty including 'Rakshabandhan', 'Ram Setu', 'Bachchan Pandey', 'Atrangi Re' and 'Prithviraj'. His much-awaited film 'Sooryavanshi' has been delayed twice due to the COVID-19 crisis. The action drama, which has been directed by Rohit Shetty, also stars Katrina Kaif in a lead role.
