Akshay Kumar Impressed By Saudi Fan's Recreation Of Iconic Scene From The Hera Pheri Sequel

Actor Akshay Kumar recently saw a fan in Jeddah recreate a popular moment from his 'Hera Pheri' sequel.

New Delhi: While recently attending the Red Sea Film Festival, actor Akshay Kumar witnessed a fan in Jeddah recreate a popular scene from his 'Hera Pheri' sequel.

The Bollywood actor was in Saudi Arabia for the event and on Sunday he posted a video to social media that showed how delighted fans interacted with him on the streets.

The video began with a man posing as Akshay from Phir Hera Pheri while wearing a traditional white costume. After some time, he suddenly realised that he could wear his sunglasses to complete the look, so he took them out of his pocket. Akshay Kumar laughed delightfully as he looked at the fan who was standing in front of his car.

“Haha…for the most lovable of reasons, my fans’ Hera Pheri simply rocks my life. Thank you, Red Sea International Film Festival and everyone in Jeddah for a memorable time. Love and prayers to you all,” Akshay wrote along with the video.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar stated during the Hindustan Times Leadership 2022 Summit that he would not be appearing in 'Hera Pheri 3'. “Hera Pheri has been a part of me. Like a lot of people, I have good memories. Mujhe bhi dukh hota hai (I feel bad as well) that in so many years, part 3 hasn't been made. But like I said we have to dismantle things. The film was offered to me but I was not satisfied with the script. I have to do what people want to see. That is why, I backed out. I took a step behind. It is a part of my life and journey for me. I am also very sad that I can't do it. But I am not happy with how the creative things have shaped out,” he said.

The last time Akshay Kumar was on screen was in the warmly reviewed film 'Ram Setu'. He also recently had a cameo appearance in Ayushmann Khurrana's film 'An Action Hero'.
