Ajay Devgn To Produce Film On India-China Clash In Galwan Valley

Ajay Devgn, who will be next seen in 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India', will produce the film based on Galwan Valley clash. The movie will narrate the story of sacrifice of 20 Indian soldiers, who were martyred in the violent face-off.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn, who won several hearts with his power-packed performance in ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, is all set to produce a film on Galwan Valley clash. The upcoming movie will be based on the violent face-off between India and China in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley in which 20 Indian soldiers were martyred. The yet-to-be titled film will be jointly produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms & Select Media holdings LLP. He said that the movie will narrate the story of the ‘sacrifice of 20 Indian soldiers who fought the Chinese army.’ “IT'S OFFICIAL... #AjayDevgn to make film on #GalwanValley clash... "It is a known fact that actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn has always supported movies or characters that portray Strength and Valour. The actor, in past, who has shouldered films like LOC: Kargil, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Tanhaji, Singham and RAID amongst others is all set to showcase the Might, Valour & Sacrifice of the Indian army during the infiltration of China at the Galwan Valley recently. On 15 June, our troops were ambushed. The fighting resulted in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers of 16th Bihar Regiment including its commanding officer, Colonel Santosh Babu. At a de-escalation meeting following the incident, China accepted that the Chinese commanding officer was also killed in the mêlée. U.S. intelligence reportedly concluded that 35 Chinese soldiers were killed. 20 of our brothers laid their lives to assert the Territorial Integrity and Sovereignty of our Mother Land, It is their story," an official statement released by Ajay Devgn Ffilms & Select Media Holdings LLP read. On June 15, 2020, 20 Indian soldiers were martyred after an attack by Chinese troops in Galway Valley in eastern Ladakh. PM Narendra Modi visited Leh on Friday (July 3) amid the ongoing dispute with China along the LAC. On the professional front, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in 'Bhuj: The Pride Of India'. The actor will play the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik in the war action film. The Abhishek Dudhaiya directorial, which is based on Indo-Pak 1971 war, will premiere directly on Disney+ Hotstar. The much-awaited movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi and Sharad Kelkar in key roles.
