Aashiqui 3: Kartik Aaryan And Director Anurag Basu Meet To Discuss The Third Part

New Delhi: In the third installment of the 'Aashiqui' film series, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan will play the lead role. Anurag Basu will direct the movie, which is reportedly titled Aashiqui 3, and Bhushan Kumar will produce it.

The upcoming film is already generating a lot of excitement regarding its production and the dynamic trio of the actor, producer, and director recently gathered at the T-Series office to discuss the upcoming plans. Kartik, Anurag, and Bhushan were photographed at a workplace yesterday evening. Although Kartik Aaryan and T-Series have had a long relationship, this will be the actor's first movie with Anurag Basu. 

'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' star Kartik uploaded a post on social media in September of this year to make the major announcement. "This one is going to be Heart-wrenching !! My First with Basu Da," the post read.

In 1990, the first movie in the 'Aashiqui' franchise was released, and in 2013, 'Aashiqui 2' followed. Mahesh Bhatt directed the first installment, which starred Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal. Mohit Suri directed the second installment of Aashiqui which starred Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. 

Karthik Aaryan was last seen in 'Freddy' alongside Alaya F. A meek dentist who becomes a killer at night is the central character of the film Freddy. The film is streaming on Disney+Hotstar. 

On the job front, in addition to 'Aashiqui 3' and Kartik will star in 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' alongside Kiara Advani. The actor also has 'Shehzada' and 'Captain India' in the pipeline.
