‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ Release Date Confirmed: Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan Starrer To Hit The Screens On This Date

Aamir Khan Productions shared an update about the release date of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and reconfirmed that the movie will the theatres on April 14, 2022.

New Delhi: Aamir Khan’s much-awaited movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has been making the headlines since the last few days. There have been reports doing rounds on social media that the makers of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ have postponed the release date of the movie due to the clash with Yash’s ‘K.G.F. Chapter 2’ release date.

But now, Aamir Khan Productions shared an update about the release date of ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ and reconfirmed that the movie will the theatres on the said date, i.e. April 14, 2022.

Aamir Khan Productions shared a statement that read, “Aamir Khan Productions’ Laal Singh Chaddha’s release date stands as Baisakhi, 14^th April 2022, contrary to some misleading stories. We once again would like to thank everyone who has supported us in the journey of making this film. Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions, Laal Singh Chaddha is directed by Advait Chandan with music by Pritam and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The film has been adapted by Atul Kulkarni.”

Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' is clashing in theatres with one of the most anticipated movies 'K.G.F. Chapter 2', which will also release on April 14, 2022. 'KGF Chapter 2' stars Yash in the lead role with Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon playing pivotal roles. 

Meanwhile, on a related note, 'Laal Singh Chaddha' is the remake of the 1994 Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump' starring Tom Hanks in the lead role. This movie will also mark Naga Chaitanya's debut in the Hindi film industry.
