Aamir Khan Faces The Wrath Of Netizens For Meeting Turkey's First Lady Emine Erdogan During Laal Singh Chaddha Shoot In Istanbul!

Aamir meeting the first lady didn’t go well with netizens who seemed to be unhappy with the actor amid strained ties between India and Turkey.

Recently, Aamir Khan had jetted off to Turkey to resume the shooting of his upcoming film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Soon as Aamir landed in Turkey his pictures and videos from the airport where he was mobbed by fans were all over the net. And now, some new pictures of the actor with the First Lady of Turkey is going viral on the internet. Turkish First Lady, Emine Erdogan took to her official Twitter handle to share some pictures with the Bollywood actor and wrote, ‘I had the great pleasure of meeting @aamir_khan, the world-renowned Indian actor, filmmaker, and director, in Istanbul. I was happy to learn that Aamir decided to wrap up the shooting of his latest movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in different parts of Turkey. I look forward to it!

In the picture, Aamir is seen sitting and chatting with the First Lady in the balcony of the Huber Mansion. Dressed in a blue and white checkered shirt and denim, Aamir looked dapper as ever. However Aamir meeting the first lady didn’t go well with netizens who seemed to be unhappy with the actor amid strained ties between India and Turkey. India’s relationship with Turkey has deteriorated in the past several months, particularly after Article 370 was scrapped in Kashmir last year. A Turkish foreign ministry spokesperson recently also commented that removal of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir has not contributed to peace and stability in the region.
