‘Mirzapur 2’: Amazon Prime Video Brings Your Favourite Characters To Your City! DETAILS INSIDE!

New Delhi: ‘Mirzapur’ is undoubtedly one of the most loved and popular shows amongst the Indian audience. Popular for its storyline, cast and gripping dialogues, fans have not been able to keep their calm ever since the makers announced their second season. As the day of premiere is nearing, Amazon Prime Video is leaving no stones unturned to keep the excitement level high as they found out a quirky way to bring the cast of ‘Mirzapur 2’ closer to UPites. Huge cut-outs of Pankaj Tripathi (Kaleen Bhaiya), Ali Fazal (Guddu Pandit) and Divyendu Sharma (Munna Bhaiya) adorn eight cities of Uttar Pradesh. If you reside in and around the cities including Benaras, Agra, Ghaziabad, Bareily, Prayagraj, Meerut, Lucknow and Kanpur, you are likely to come across huge cut-outs of your beloved Mirzapur characters. The cut-outs of your favourite characters will also have QR codes on it and on scanning the codes, fans will be able to put in their vote on who they think should sit on the throne of ‘Mirzapur’. Mirzapur Amazon took to their Twitter and shared pictures of the cut-outs. The caption for which read, “Laal phool peela phool, hoarding ho toh ho aisa beautiful #MirzapurOnPrime”

The first season of ‘Mirzapur’ stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Duggal and Kulbhushan Kharbandha in the lead roles. The show is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime from October 23. Joining the ‘Mirzapur’ cast in Season 2 are Vijay Varma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Isha Talwar, Amit Sial, Anjum Sharma. The popular web series has been directed by Gurmmeet Singh & Mihir Desai, created by Puneet Krishna and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar under the banner Excel Entertainment.
