'Love Aaj Kal' Actress Pranati Rai Prakash OPENS Up About Her Character In Ekta Kapoor's 'Cartel'

Pranati Rai Prakash is currently busy shooting for ALT Balaji's web series titled 'Cartel'.

New Delhi: 'Love Aaj Kal 2' fame Pranati Rai Prakash received praises for her performance in the film starring Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan. She is currently working on the much talked about ALT Balaji web series 'Cartel'. Pranati will be play a prominent role in the series, which is being directed by Suyash Vadhavkar. The show also stars Ritvik Dhanjani, Supriya Pathak and Tanuj Virwani in pivotal roles. Pranati, who has several exciting projects in her kitty, opened up about her character in 'Cartel'. “My character Sumi is very unlike me yet very much like me. I find such contradiction in all my roles and the idea is to internally mold myself into the character that I have to play; although, it drains me intensively but is also the most thrilling and satisfying part of my job. I want to make Sumi look beautiful with all her flaws and want the audience to fall in love with her and feel for it as much as I do,” the actress said.

Pranati’s journey was the winner of 'India’s Next Top Model Season 2'. She has also worked in the web series 'Poison', where her role was overtly appreciated by everyone. She debuted in Bollywood with the film 'Family of Thakurganj' which starred Jimmy Shergill and Mahie Gill.
