The Player 2: Master of Swindlers

One of the finest action K-dramas of 2018, ‘Player’, is set to return with a sequel. Song Seung Heon will reprise as the lead in the second season, titled ‘The Player 2: Master of Swindlers’. The 12-episode series follows a team of individuals—a con artist, a hacker, a fighter, and a driver—who unite to steal from wealthy people. However, this time, Krystal Jung will not join the cast.

'Hierarchy', a seven-episode Korean drama series, is touted as a series providing a new viewpoint. The romantic thriller is set in an elite high school established by the Jooshin Group, the leading conglomerate in South Korea. Students are chosen from birth to attend Jooshin High School. However, Kang Ha, a rather ordinary student, transfers to Jooshin High School among the privileged students.

My Sweet Mobster

The rom-com, starring Uhm Tae Goo and Han Sun Hwa, is all about redemption, but with a twist. It follows a former gangster who is headed to a new life, leaving his past behind. In his journey, he meets his childhood friend, Go Eun Ha, who is a children's content creator. She decides to help him get out of his dark past.

Miss Night and Day

‘Miss Night and Day’ is expected to replace the popular show ‘Atypical Family’, starring Jang Ki Yong and Chun Woo Hee. The weekly show is slated to release this month, although the official announcement is still awaited. It follows the story of a young woman who is struggling to land a decent job. One day, she wakes up in the body of a 50-year-old and then goes back to being a 20-year-old at night. This cycle repeats itself and helps her secure employment.

The Whirlwind

Helmed by the creator of ‘If You Wish Upon Me’, the series revolves around Park Dong Ho, the Prime Minister of South Korea. He is determined to bring the corrupt president to justice, but his plan is hindered by the president’s strong connections with influential families. The political drama will not leave you disappointed.
