On April 9 and 10, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho shared two videos on his channel, presenting what he claims is evidence that Kim Sae Ron was actually in a relationship with someone else at the time. He further suggested that her DUI incident may have been triggered by emotional distress following a breakup with that individual.

In his video titled ‘The coffee truck sent to her singer ex-boyfriend... what about the dating period?’ YouTuber Lee Jin Ho shared photos of Kim Sae Ron and her singer ex-boyfriend showing affection in public. He claimed the two broke up in 2022, and that Kim Sae Ron did not cope well with the split. According to Lee, the breakup led her to start drinking heavily, and her emotional distress at the time may have contributed to the drunk driving incident that followed.

Lee Jin Ho also stated, “There is clear evidence to support this.” Previously, Kim Sae Ron’s side claimed she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun from 2015 to 2021, and that their breakup led to her DUI incident in 2022. However, Lee’s account challenges this timeline. According to him, both Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun were dating other people in 2019, and they only began seeing each other after the DUI incident. He further alleged that Kim Sae Ron’s relationship with her singer ex-boyfriend lasted from early 2021 until May 17, 2022.

Following his claims, Lee Jin Ho asked viewers to respect the privacy of Kim Sae Ron’s ex-boyfriend and not attempt to uncover his identity, urging people to let him live in peace. Interestingly, these videos were released shortly after the court imposed a three-month restriction on Lee, prohibiting him from reporting on Kim Sae Ron and her family. The restriction came after he was found guilty of stalking the actress—allegedly using insider sources to obtain personal information and framing it in a way that harmed her reputation. His recent actions may lead to further legal consequences for violating the court's order.
