BLACKPINK's Rosé Opens Up About Heartbreak And 'Biggest Fight' With Ex During Tour

BLACKPINK member Rosé has shared a candid insight into her personal life, revealing how she navigated heartbreak while touring with the K-pop group.

New Delhi: BLACKPINK member Rosé is getting ready to release her solo album Rosie on December 6. The Korean pop artist spoke candidly with Apple Music host Zane Lowe about her next record, her thoughts on previous breakups, and the popularity of her track ‘APT’ with Bruno Mars.

During the conversation, Rosé opened up about the complex relationship between her demanding touring schedule and her personal issues. Thinking back on those tough years, she said how looking at old tour images would trigger terrible recollections of her struggles.

“I would actually look at looks and be like, ‘Oh my god, that’s when I was going through the worst time of my life,’" she said, referring to certain instances that stuck out in her past.

The BLACKPINK member revealed a difficult time in her life when she and an ex-partner got into a violent fight while she was on tour. “I remember that tour, I had the biggest fight (with my ex),” she said.

Even though she was going through a lot in her personal life, Rosé never let it show onstage. Her concerts were always top-notch. She said, “I looked so good considering how heartbroken I was!”

Rosé then went into detail about how these events shaped her next album, Rosie, and the song ‘Toxic Till The End’ in particular. According to her, the song was inspired by the emotions she still felt after the breakup.

Fans Express Admiration for Rosé

Fans have responded positively to her honest revelation, taking to X (previously Twitter) to show their appreciation for Rosé's ability to remain composed.
