BLACKPINK's Jisoo Announces Solo Comeback On Valentine's Day, Release Teaser Of Upcoming Project

K-pop sensation BLACKPINK's Jisoo has officially announced her highly anticipated solo comeback, set to release on Valentine's Day.

New Delhi: Fans are going crazy over BLACKPINK member Jisoo's formal announcement that her solo comeback would be dropping on February 14, 2025. In a teaser video that became popular all over social media, Jisoo made the news on her official Instagram.

The simple teaser shows an electrocardiogram (ECG) recorder drawing a heartbeat on paper, set to music that sounds like static. The teaser builds up to her return on Valentine's Day, and it ends with that confirmation. Just writing "2025.02.14...coming soon" in the description had her fans even more pumped up. 

The comment area was filled with joyful remarks from fans. Someone wrote, “Is this for real omg. Can't wait to see.”

One fan commented, "Jisoo is coming y'all, get ready blinks!!" while another added, "My love, keep that spirit alive."

Jisoo's first album, ME, which included the number-one single "Flower," was released in March 2023. This would be her first solo release in over two years.

Jisoo in Store for a Challenging Year

With the debut of her solo album and other acting projects in the works, Jisoo has a packed schedule for 2025. The highly anticipated zombie-romcom ‘Newtopia’, starring Jisoo, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 4, 2025. With a new episode dropping every week, fans of the dystopian thriller will never be able to get enough.

Along with Seo In-Guk, Jisoo may be seen in the Korean drama ‘Boyfriend On Demand’. She will be making her film debut in Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, which also features Lee Min-Ho, Chae Soo-Bin, and Ahn Hyo-Seop, among other A-listers.

As Jisoo storms the entertainment industry in both music and acting, her fans are in for a thrilling year ahead with her full schedule.
