New Delhi: 'Koffee With Karan Season 7' is known to make headlines and contriversies. In its recent episode which aired on Thursday featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, some revelations were made by the 'Liger' pair which created a massive buzz on social media. From Ananya Panday hinting that Vijay is dating Rashmika Mandanna or Vijay finding Samantha Ruth 'hot' and Ananya 'hating her contemporaries',the list if endless. Karan Johar hinted that Ananya Panday is not liked alot in Bollywood.
During the KWK episode 4, Karan Johar implied that the industry does not really like Ananya Panday and that she does not care much for them. Karan also asked her about her equation with Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Karan also prophesized jelousy which might come in when Ananya's childhood friends Shanaya Kapoor and Suhana Khan make their Bollywood debuts.
In a questioning round, Karan asked Ananya, "Are you jealous of your contemporaries?” To which Ananya replied, “No, but healthy competition is there… I have my insecurities. You’re going to make me cry on the show. I get insecure on stuff, because I really want to be the best.”
His next question to Ananya was: “Is there somebody you don’t like in the business?” Ananya retorted with, “No, right now I like everyone.” Karan followed-up with, “Do you think somebody doesn’t like you?” to which Ananya answered, “I don’t know if they don’t like me, but I think people don’t like me… I can see people not liking me. I won’t be surprised.”
Later when Karan played the two truths and one lie game with Ananya, she came up with two statements,"I kiss and tell, and I hate my contemporaries", and asked Karan to guess which is the truth. Karan said that he is sure that she kisses and tells, “But I also think she hates her contemporaries, and she’s lying about the fact that that is a lie. That is not a lie, that is also a truth. She has no interest in her contemporaries, I can quite…” Karan added. “I don’t have to give this answer,” Ananya quickly pointed out. “You may not have to say it but your face said it all,” Karan finished.
Ananya Panday confirms Vijay Deverakonda is dating Rashmika Mandanna
When Karan asked Ananya to state who 'these actors are dating', and when Vijay's name was taken, Ananya said, "He is in rush...rush to meet Mika Singh's line," obviously impliying Rashmika Mandanna. Vijay also repsonded to her comment with a laungh and said,'You really think so?'
When Vijay was asked about his equation with Rashmika, he said, "We have done 2 films together and she is a darling. I'm very fond of her. She is a very good friend of mine and we share so much through films like lots of highs and lots of lows. A bond gets created. In films, you are put into close proximity very quickly and so a bond develops quicker."
On being asked about his relationship status, Vijay dodged the question with, "I have a very good relationship with my parents, director Puri."
