KBC 14: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan And Aaradhya Give A Heartwarming Surprise To Big B
Abhishek played a video which made 'Big B' really emotional. It was a birthday wish sent by his daughter-in-law and his beloved grandchildren- Aaradhya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda.
New Delhi: The Bachchan family came together on the sets of the popular show, Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by none other than Amitabh Bachchan to give him a heartwarming surprise on his 80th Birthday. Abhishek Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan visited the set to wish him and celebrate his birthday after which Abhishek played a video which made 'Big B' really emotional. The video was a birthday wish sent by his daughter-in-law and his beloved grandchildren- Aaradhya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda.

Aishwarya Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan, began by wishing him 'Namaste'with folded hands a then sent their birthday wishes and showered their love and respect towards Amitabh Bachchan. Big B was really moved by this gesture. In the video, they said, "Aapko janamdin ki bohot bohot shubhkaamnayein. Hum par humesha aapka aashirwaad bana rahe. Dher saara pyaar. Dhanyawaad." which translates to "Happy Birthday to you. May your blessings always be on us. Lots of love. Thank you."
Senior Bachchan was elated to receive such a surprise from his family and he was seen getting emotional on set, trying to hold his tears.
As Sweta Bachchan was not well, so she could not come to the sets of KBC to wish her father, instead, she too sent a message for him. It was a video which had pictures of her with her father right from her childhood to her marriage. Bachchan Sir went on a rollercoaster ride of emotions on seeing those pictures.
Jaya also came to surprise him on the set. The two reminisced as old family pictures, and Shweta and Abhishek's childhood photos were being played on screen.
Jaya Bachchan disclosed that the Bachchans do not cut cakes on birthdays, so the actor chose to cut a milk cake toward the conclusion of the programme, instead of a traditional cake. Additionally, they skip the birthday song. Instead, they say "Varsh Nav, Harsh Nav, Jeevan Utkarsh Nav," which is what Amitabh's father Harivansh Rai Bachchan used to say.
