Kartik Aaryan’s Grandfather Passes Away; ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ Actor Shares Adorable Throwback Picture

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan’s maternal grandfather passed away. To mourn his demise, the ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ actor shared a throwback memory with his ‘Naanu’ where Kartik can be seen cradled in his grandfather’s lap.

Sharing the picture, Kartik wrote, “Hope I get your swag some day RIP Naanu”.

On a related note, yesterday, i.e. on July 10, Ananya Panday’s grandmother and Chunky Pandey’s mother passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest. Snehlata Pandey breathed her last at the age of 85. The actress and her father were seen attending the last rites as they bid their final goodbye.

Meanwhile, speaking on the professional front, Kartik Aaryan will be next seen featuring in a lead role in Sameer Vidwans’ next film. The movie was earlier titled ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’, but after it spiked controversy for its title as it allegedly hurt religious sentiments, the makers decided to change the title of the film. The new title of the film has not been revealed yet.

The makers said in a statement, “A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film ‘Satyanarayan ki Katha’ to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that’s purely unintentional. Producers of the film and the creative team also are in complete support of this decision. We will be announcing a new title for our love story in the due course of our journey.”

Kartik Aaryan will also be seen featuring in ‘Dhamaka’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’. Also, reports have been doing rounds that Kartik and Deepika Padukone might share the screen space for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next.
