Kangana Ranaut Supports Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Statement Against Wife Aaliyah, Says, 'Silence Doesn’t Always Gives Us Peace'

Kangana Ranaut shows her support when Nawazuddin Siddiqui speaks up the truth about his estranged wife Aaliyah.

New Delhi: Nawazuddin Siddiqui's problematic marriage has been a topic of news coverage for quite some time. Aaliya, the actor's estranged wife, has made various charges against him, including that he is absent from his children's lives and that he has kept them locked in his home. Following a lengthy period of silence, the actor responded to the charges on Monday by sharing his official statement.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui posted a lengthy letter on his own Instagram account, explaining that his silence has led to him being portrayed as a villain. He said the media and others on social media are having fun destroying his reputation with biased and edited footage of her wife. Then he went into further detail about his experience and explained his perspective. Now, Kangana Ranaut also gave her thoughts on Nawazuddin's statement.

Kangana responded to Nawaz's statement by praising him. She also discussed her thoughts on her Instagram stories. The actress wrote, “Was much needed @nawazuddin siddiqui saab… silences does not always give us peace… I am glad you issued this statement.”

Coming back to Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aaliya, the couple got married in 2009. They have been in the limelight for the past few months hurling allegations at each other on various domestic and personal issues and their children, daughter Shora and son Yaani.

In January 2022, Nawazuddin's mother filed a police complaint against Aaliya for allegedly trespassing into the actor's home and she lodged a counter-complaint against her mother-in-law alleging domestic violence.

Recently, Aaliya charged Nawaz with the alleged rape and lodged a complaint with Versova Police Station.

The Bombay High Court recommended last month that Nawazuddin and Aaliya should attempt to work out their problems peacefully for the sake of their two young children. Meanwhile, Nawaz had filed a habeas corpus petition with HC.
