Kangana Ranaut Calls Qatar Airways CEO 'Idiot' As She Falls For Spoof Video, Deletes Post After Backlash

Kangana Ranuat shared the parody video clip screenshot through her Instagram story and wrote, "All so-called Indians who are cheering this bully for making fun of a poor man remember...

'Dhaakad' actress Kangana Ranaut is making healdines again for a remark on Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker. She called him an 'idiot if a man' in a reaction to a parody video clip she believed to be true.

The parody video clip which has been doing the rounds on social media was made in response to a Twitter user- Vashudev who had earlier in a recording appealed to fellow Indians to boycott Qatar Airways.

The boycott of Qatar Airways trend stared following a massive outrage the International community expressed after two BJP leaders' derrogatory remarks towards Prophet Muhammad.

Kangana Ranuat shared the parody video clip screenshot through her Instagram story and wrote, "All so-called Indians who are cheering this bully for making fun of a poor man remember this is exactly why you all are a big bojh (burden) on this overpopulated country,"

This idiot of a man has no shame bullying a poor man, mocking his insignificance and place in the world...

"Vasudev may be poor and insignificant for a rich man like you but he has the right to express his grief, pain and disappointment in whatever context it may be... remember there is a world beyond this world where we all are equal...," her other story read.

Kangana deleted these after the widespread controversy they generated.

This spoof video on which Kangana commented was made in repsonse to Vashudev's video who had said in it that Qatar offered refuge to Indian painter MF Hussain who had painted 'nude images of Hindu goddesses'. Now, that the same Qatar is preaching to us( Indians on BJP leader Nupur Sharma's remarks), the country and all its products must be boycotted in response to news around Indians being sacked in Qatar due to this controversy.

In response to this video, a Twitter user made a spoof video dubbing the Qatar Airways chief's interview to the broadcaster Al Jazeera by adding sarcastic remarks and dubbing it in such a way that looked like Al Baker was appealing to Vashudev to call of the boycott.

After BJP spokespersons Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal made controversial remarks about Propeht Muhammad on a TV show, the BJP expelled the two post a back lash from countries like Saudi Arabia, Oman, Malaysia, the UAE, Jordan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bahrain, Maldives, Libya, and Indonesia, among others.

The Indian foreign ministry through a statement said that these offensive tweets and comments "did not, in any way, reflect the views of the government. These are the views of fringe elements".
