'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' Trailer OUT: Ranveer Singh Breaks Stereotypes In This Thought-Provoking Socio-Drama

The film has been creating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. On Tuesday, the makers of the film released the trailer, amping up the audience's excitement.

New Delhi: Ranveer Singh has proved his mettle as a stupenduous actor, time and again, with his exemplary performances. The actor is once again all set to leave an impression on the audience with his powerful performance in 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar', as he breaks the stereotypes and vouches to take a stand for his family.

The film has been creating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. On Tuesday, the makers of the film released the trailer, amping up the audience's excitement.

The around three minutes long trailer gives a sneak peek into the patriarchal society that Jayeshbhai lives in. The film focuses on how he takes a stand for his wife and the unborn child, when his parents played by Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah, force his wife (played by Shalini Pandey) to get an abortion after she expects a girl child for the second time.

The storyline is both gripping and thought-provoking at the same time. Meanwhile, it is also filled with a lot of fun and drama.

Helmed by debutant director Divyang Thakkar, 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' will hit theatres on May 13. On the work front, Ranveer Singh has an interesting line-up of projects. He will soon be shooting in Jaisalmer with Alia Bhatt for Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. He also has 'Cirkus' in the pipeline.
