New Delhi: The highly successful crime drama from Netflix returns for a second season. The trailer for ‘Jamtara: Season 2’ has just been released, and it seems like the scamming world is about to become a lot more intense. Season 2 is based on actual events and it focuses on the rise of sophisticated cybercrime in Jamtara, which is orchestrated by a group of young con artists who have developed new and sophisticated phishing techniques. 

Jamtara Season 2's official trailer was posted ON Netflix India's official Twitter account. The caption reads, "Congratulations, your account has been selected to view the Jamtara trailer 🥳 Jamtara arrives 23rd September, only on Netflix.”

The new teaser reveals that the following episode will be the second half of the first season, in which the weakling con artists of Jamtara are gradually replaced with more capable con artists. Politics in Jamtara and the surrounding areas will play a significant role in the next sequel. 

The video highlights the scams defrauding the people of India online by luring them with an exceptional promise to win money in Kaun Banega Crorepati (a renowned game show). The show will include a combination of politics, vengeance, and an insatiable hunger for power.

The first season of ‘Jamtara’ was a huge success, winning praise from viewers and reviewers alike for its authentic storytelling and compelling characters. 

The second season of ‘Jamtara - Sabka Number Ayega’, featuring actors such as Sparsh Srivastav, Monika Panwar, Anshumaan Pushkar, Amit Sia will premiere on Netflix on September 23. Also joining the cast in Season 2 are Ravi Chahal and Seema Pahwa.
