'I Will Not Marry Any Politician Ever': Parineeti Chopra's Old Interview Goes Viral Ahead Of Engagement With Raghav Chadha

An old interview of Parineeti and Siddharth Malhotra is going viral, in which the actress said, "I don't want to marry any politician."

New Delhi: Actress Parineeti Chopra is all set to get engaged with Aam Aadmi Party politician Raghav Chadha at the Kapurthala House in Delhi today. Meanwhile, an old interview of Parineeti and Siddharth Malhotra is going viral now. The duo was interviewed by Bollywood Hungama for their upcoming film ‘Jabariya Jodi’, where Parineeti said she will never marry a politician.

The show’s host Faridoon Shahryar dug deep and uncovered the clip. He tweeted: "I don't want to marry any politician. I don't want to marry any politician ever," said @ParineetiChopra in a fun #RapidFire with me a few years back."

She is being interviewed by Faridoon in the clip. In response to the question of which politician she plans to marry, she said, "The problem is I don't want to marry any politician. There are too many good options but I don't want to marry any politician ever."

The video has received several humorous reactions from viewers ever since it was posted online. Others made fun of the actress by telling her she should "never say never."

According to the India Today report, Parineeti’s engagement ceremony would be attended by roughly 150 close friends and family members. Their wedding date has not been officially announced, but it is expected to fall before the end of the year.

While Parineeti will be dressed in a Manish Malhotra ensemble, Raghav has chosen a minimalist achkan designed by fashion designer Pawan Sachdeva. Their outfits for the evening will be colour-coordinated.

The two became the talk of the town when they were spotted twice in Mumbai in March. Since then, they have been spotted together many times.

Though the couple has stayed mum about their relationship status, Parineeti’s co-star Harrdy Sandhu had confirmed their relationship and claimed that he even congratulated her. Also, Rajya Sabha Member Sanjeev Arora congratulated the two on their ‘union’ on Twitter.
