'I Love When Junkies Die': Comedian Makes Fun Of Matthew Perry's Demise In A Post
Comedian and podcaster Kevin Brennan has made some offensive remarka on the death of 'Friends' star Matthew Perry.
New Delhi: 'Friends' star Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing in the famous sitcom, passed away on October 29 at the age of 54. His body was discovered in his Los Angeles home's jacuzzi. It was reported that he drowned. Podcaster and comedian Kevin Brennan, a former writer for ‘Saturday Night Live,’ has made fun of 'Friends' actor Matthew Perry's demise in an online post. Fans all across the world are shocked by Kevin's rude comments.
TMZ alleges that after hearing of Perry's passing over the weekend, Kevin Brennan rushed to Twitter to send an inappropriate remark insulting the late 'Friends' star. Brennan had a two-year stint writing for the legendary sketch comedy programme.
He wrote on X (formely Twitter), "DROWNED IN A HOT TUB. HAHAHAHA".

People criticised him for making light of the situation in the remarks.
Kevin went down on his vulgar remarks when TMZ published a news report about him ridiculing Perry's death. He simply said, "I didn't mock it. I just thought it was funny. But I do love it when junkies die."
Even after being called out for his hateful remarks, the comedian kept them coming. He replied to a tweet asking why it was humorous to drown in a hot tub by saying, "Because it's not very deep."

There was no evidence of foul play or drugs at the location where Perry was discovered dead in his hot tub at his Los Angeles home, according to police authorities. The reason for the death is yet unknown. In his book "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing" from 2022, Perry was candid about his issues with alcohol and opiates.
Matthew Perry rose to prominence during the duration of the hugely popular television sitcom ‘Friends’, which aired from 1994 to 2004. Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, and Courteney Cox co-starred with him.
