Pithamagan (2003)
This film tells the story of Sakthi's endearing friendship with a social outcast Chittan. The film had won numerous awards including National Film Awards 2003 which went to Vikram’s kitty who played Chittan.
Ayan (2009)
This action-thriller directed by KV Anand had enough scope for Surya to prove his acting mettle. As Deva, he takes on the drug lord once he had been loyal to for killing his best friend.
Ghajini (2008)

Mani Ratnam and AR Rehman's combo as director and music composer did the magic to the political thriller Aayitha Ezhuthu which was simultaneously filmed in Hindi as Yuva. Suriya as the protagonist, Michael Vasanth looks impressive.
7 Aum Arivu (2011)
7 Aum Arivu is one of the best movies to be noted in the history of Indian cinema for portraying Indian martial arts and medical remedies to the global stage. The film was selected for the Indian submission for Oscar under the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2012.
Thaanaa Serndha Koottam
The light-hearted political satire takes a dig at corruption and white-collar crimes.
