Fashion Designer Prathyusha Garimella Found Dead In Hyderabad Home Under 'Suspicious Circumstances'

New Delhi: Celebrity fashion designer Prathyusha Garimella was found dead under suspicious circumstances in her home in Banjara Hills in Hyderabad, Telangana, on Saturday afternoon. Prathyusha stayed in an apartment in Film Nagar falling under the Banjara Hills Police Station limits.
The matter came to the fore when she did not respond to security checks this afternoon following which the guards alerted the police.
After breaking the door of the house open, the police went inside and found her body in the bathroom.

The police seized a carbon monoxide cylinder from her bedroom, ANI reported.
A case is being registered under the section of suspicious death, the news agency quoted the Circle Inspector as saying.
Her family and friends have been informed about the unfortunate incident.
The celebrity fashion designer’s body has been shifted to Hyderabad’s Osmania Hospital for autopsy.
The police have begun an investigation into the same.
Prathyusha, according to reports, was suffering from depression.

It is being suspected that Prathyusha, who studied fashion designing in the United States and came back to India to start her career in Telangana, consumed carbon monoxide with steam, which led to her death.
35-year-old Prathyusha had worked for several renowned celebrities in Tollywood and some in Bollywood as well.
