New Delhi: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty got married to businessman Raj Kundra on November 22, 2009. Kundra is also the co-owner of her IPL cricket team Rajasthan Royals. The couple has two children together namely Viaan Raj Kundra and Samisha Shetty Kundra. While the ‘Dhadkan’ actress gave birth to their son Viaan on May 21, 2012, the couple’s second child Samisha was born vis surrogacy on February 15, 2020. Recently, a report suggested that the ‘Life In A Metro’ actress’ 8-year old son Viaan owns a sports car gifted by his father and businessman Raj Kundra. Raj Kundra, however, took to his Twitter and slammed the article revealing that it was actually a toy car. He further called it a ‘badly researched article’. Sharing the link of the article from his official Twitter account, Raj Kundra wrote, “such a credible magazine but such a badly researched article! Kindly mention the Lambo was a toy Lambo car! #fakenews slow clap” Raj Kundra was earlier married to Kavita Kundra with whom he had a daughter. The couple later got divorced. He was born and raised in London. Kundra left home at the age of 18 to start a business on his own. He started selling pashmina shawls to all the major fashion houses in Britain and made millions with his business. Since then, there has been no looking back for the businessman as he kept on climbing the stairs of success. Shilpa Shetty, on the other hand, made her debut Bollywood film starring alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the 1993 film ‘Baazigar’. She gained recognition with the romantic drama ‘Dhadkan’ which also marked a turning point in her career. She garnered several awards and also received critical acclamation for her roles in different movies. She will be next seen starring in ‘Nikamma’ and ‘Hungama 2’.
