New Delhi: Bollywood powerhouse and global icon Deepika Padukone is making India proud yet again. The actress has officially been named one of the honourees for the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026. The announcement was made via a livestream by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce from Ovation Hollywood on July 3.

Joining an illustrious list of global entertainers, Deepika is now in the same league as Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci, and Demi Moore.

The Walk of Fame selection panel selects names from hundreds of entries each year, and their final list is approved by the Chamber’s board of directors. Deepika’s inclusion is not just a personal victory but a celebratory moment for Indian cinema’s growing influence worldwide.

The Class of 2026 includes 35 honourees across five categories: motion pictures, television, live performance, recording, and sports entertainment. Deepika has been chosen under the Motion Pictures category, marking a significant milestone for Indian representation in global cinema.
