David Dhawan Rings In Birthday Celebrations With Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik & Friends

New Delhi: David Dhawan celebrated his 71st birthday among friends and family on Tuesday. Industry friends and David's colleagues like Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Shakti Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, and Chunky Panday were present on the occasion to ring in some birthday celebrations. Anupam Kher shared a series of pictures with the birthday boy David Dhawan and captioned them, "With birthday boy #DavidDhawan and my dearest friends who I have spent some memorable times with!! We are the best! #Friends #Actors."
David Dhawan ringed in his birthday party with friends at the JW Marriott Hotels in Mumbai. In the pictures shared by Anupam Kher we see David standing with Anupam and sharing a light moment while having a drink. In another picture, we see the group of friends pose for a picture together.

Earlier, in the day, Sara Ali Khan had shared a picture with the filmmaker, Sara wrote, "Missing you sir. Wishing you all the love, luck and laughter’'.
Maniesh Paul also wished him on his Instagram Stories, "Happy birthday to my favourite filmmaker. Love you sir, stay blessed. P.S. inka ladka bhi bada pyara hai (his son, Varun Dhawan, is also lovely)."

His notable works include Swarg (1990), Shola Aur Shabnam (1992), Bol Radha Bol (1992), Raja Babu (1994), Coolie No.1 (1995), Saajan Chale Sasural (1996), Judwaa (1997), Partner(2007), Chashme Baddoor (2013), and Main Tera Hero (2014), among others.
David Dhawan is also known for delivering many successful hits with his collaboration with the veteran Govinda.
