A huge tree collapsed near Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Bandra residence due to heavy rains and strong winds.
On Monday Mumbai witnessed heavy rain due to cyclone Tauktae forcing the suspension of airport and railway services, even the Bandra-Worli sea link were shut. In several areas, trees collapsed and caused several other types of damage as well.
Meanwhile a huge tree also collapsed near Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Bandra residence due to heavy rains and strong winds. Check out the video shared by a popular photographer below:
Many properties got damaged due to the cyclone including the outdoors of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's new house, which was under construction in Mumbai's Bandra area.
A video of the same is on the internet. In the clip, a tree fell inside the building causing damages and it also blocked the route.
Amitabh Bachchan also shared in his blog that his office got flooded and staff shelters got damaged due to the cyclone. He wrote in his blog, "The pounding and the lashing rains all day.. trees fell, leakages all over, flooding in the vulnerable Janak office.... impromptu plastic cover sheets in prep for the heavy Monsoon rain, riped apart.. sheds and shelters for some staff blown away.."
With at least 11 dead, the fury of Cyclone Tauktae on Monday brought in record highest rains and unprecedented levels of destructions in the coastal districts of Maharashtra, officials said on Tuesday.
In one of the biggest search and rescue operations in the Arabian Sea, the Indian Navy (IN) and Indian Coast Guard (ICG) rescued 314 people stranded and struggling for survival on two barges that were engulfed by Cyclone Tauktae.
