An old video of Amitabh Bachchan has resurfaced, capturing a humorous moment where he jokingly discusses with the cameraperson his desire to take a brief pause to pick his nose or scratch his face.
An old video of Amitabh Bachchan has recently resurfaced on social media, showing a light-hearted moment where he jokes with the cameraperson about needing a break during the shoot. The video, shared by actor and host Simi Garewal on her Instagram, features Big B sitting with his wife Jaya Bachchan and children Abhishek and Shweta Bachchan on a couch, just before an interview begins. This clip is from the Bachchan family's 2004 appearance on 'Rendezvous with Simi Garewal'.
When Amitabh Bachchan wanted to pick his nose
In the video, Simi informs the family that they will be on camera at all times, even when they're not speaking. Amitabh humorously requests a close-up shot, saying, “When I snap my fingers, you need to stop because I might want to pick my nose or something.” He adds that he might need a moment to scratch his face and would prefer to be off-camera for that. Abhishek can also be seen signaling for a break whenever he wants to yawn. Simi shared the video with the caption, "Rendezvous gems! Nope! Still not started the interview! Getting there! And with the Bachchans... it's fun all the way! #RendezvousGems."
Recently, Simi, who has a close relationship with the Bachchan family, defended Abhishek Bachchan in light of rumors about his alleged affair with Nimrat Kaur. She shared an old clip from Rendezvous with Simi Garewal in 2003, where Abhishek talks about his views on loyalty and commitment in relationships. In the video, Abhishek says, "Call me old-fashioned, but I have nothing against being frivolous. I have nothing against people wanting to have fun, but if you've committed to someone, you should honor that commitment."
He adds, “I personally feel that if you commit to someone, even if something else happens, you should remain loyal. Men are often accused of being disloyal, but I don’t agree with that, and it disgusts me.”
Simi also recently responded to a social media post that claimed Amitabh Bachchan ignored Aishwarya Rai while showing support for his daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda. She criticized the video for making unfounded claims about the Bachchan family, commenting, “You people don’t know ANYTHING. Stop it.”
