After mesmerising audiences in Ahmedabad, Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin has arrived in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, with his girlfriend Dakota Johnson.

New Delhi: Chris Martin, frontman of British rock band Coldplay, has arrived in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, after wrapping off their very successful India tour with an unforgettable performance in Ahmedabad. Joined by his girlfriend, Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson, Chris Martin is in the spiritual city to take part in the holy rites of the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.
Prayagraj is currently hosting the Maha Kumbh, a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual event that draws millions of visitors and followers. It is said that Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson would take a dip in the famous Sangam.

News agency ANI posted a footage of Chris Martin's arrival in Prayagraj on X (previously Twitter), where he was seen jokingly interacting with media. He even gave the photographers and fans a good laugh by sticking out his tongue while posing for a shot.

Coldplay's Farewell Concert in Ahmedabad
On January 26, during Coldplay's performance in Ahmedabad, Chris Martin had a moving moment as the band said goodbye to their Indian fans. There was an extra dose of Indian patriotism in the air since the performance was timed to coincide with the 76th Republic Day festivities.
As a moving tribute to India, Chris Martin sang "Vande Mataram" and "Maa Tujhhe Salaam" during the event at Narendra Modi Stadium.
