Actor Urvashi Rautela, now a familiar face at the Cannes Film Festival, made yet another headline-grabbing appearance on Tuesday during the opening ceremony and the screening of Partir un jour (Leave One Day).

Known for her extravagant style, Urvashi walked the red carpet in a strikingly colourful strapless outfit, featuring bold shades of blue, red, and yellow. She paired the structured ensemble with a matching tiara and a quirky, crystal-embedded parrot-shaped clutch that stole the spotlight.

Photos and videos of Urvashi from the event have quickly gone viral across social media platforms, sparking a flurry of mixed reactions. While her outfit caught many eyes, it was the unique parrot clutch that became a major talking point.

One image even shows the actor posing while holding the bird-shaped accessory up and kissing it. According to fashion commentary page Diet Sabya, the clutch is a Judith Leiber creation, retailing at $5,495 (₹4,68,064.10).

The internet had a field day reacting to Urvashi’s red carpet look. One user quipped, “So beautiful so elegant just looking like design machine studio.” Another gushed, “I’m such a fan.”

A cheeky reference to her film career popped up with someone asking, “Was Daku Maharaj shown at the festival?” Other comments ranged from “Slay,” to “Giving ‘Moulin Rouge meets Mayur Vihar’ realness.”

One curious fan even questioned, “Is it a satire on camp?” while another claimed she was “hogging the red carpet and asked to leave.”
