Comedian and actor Sunil Grover recently offered a glimpse into a deeply spiritual experience at the Maha Kumbh 2025, held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Sharing a heartfelt video on Instagram, Sunil documented his visit, which included a sacred dip in the holy waters.

In the video, Sunil can be seen immersed in the serene waters. Captioning the post, he wrote, “Divine, Celestial, Godly. Divine to be here at the Mahakumbh 2025. Feeling blessed to take a much-awaited dip. So many Sadhu, Sant, Rishi, Muni, Mahatma have been coming here for thousands of years in the same water. I feel full, complete. Gratitude to each and everyone who helped me to reach here. Jai ho!”
He accompanied the video with Amit Trivedi’s soulful track Jaikal Mahakal.

Mahakumbh draws celebrities
The ongoing Mahakumbh has attracted a diverse array of devotees, including prominent celebrities. Singer Guru Randhawa, actress Mamta Kulkarni, choreographer and director Remo D’Souza and veteran actor Anupam Kher were among the well-known faces who took part in the grand spiritual gathering.
Guru Randhawa shared a video of his holy dip at the Sangam, where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati converge. Expressing his emotions, he wrote, “Blessed to take a sacred dip in Maa Ganga at Prayagraj, where faith flows and spirituality thrives. Starting my new journey with God’s blessing. Har har Gange!”

Actress Mamta Kulkarni was honored with the title of "Mahamandleshwar" by the Kinnar Akhara, a significant recognition during the event.
Anupam Kher, known for his eloquent reflections, also posted a video capturing his spiritual journey. Describing his emotional experience, he wrote, “Life became successful by taking bath in Ganga in Mahakumbh! Reached the place where Mother Ganga, Jamuna, and Saraswati meet for the first time. While praying, tears themselves started flowing from the eyes. Look at the coincidence! The same thing happened exactly one year ago today, on the day of Pran Pratishthan in Ayodhya!
