Rohit Bal’s Health

Since last year, Rohit has been dealing with a heart ailment. In November 2023, he was also taken to the Medanta Hospital's critical care unit in Gurugram. Due to problems from a pre-existing heart issue, the fashion designer was sent to the hospital immediately.

He returned to work earlier this year and last month in Delhi, he presented his last show at the Lakme India Fashion Week. Fans were concerned about the designer's health when he tripped on the ramp.

A message on the official Instagram account of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) verified the news of his death. The post reads: "We mourn the passing of legendary designer Rohit Bal. He was a founding member of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). Known for his unique blend of traditional patterns with modern sensibilities, Bal's work redefined Indian fashion and inspired generations."
