Fueling excitement further, Samay shared a cryptic Instagram Story hinting that his recent controversy might find a place in his new material. “The most testing time of my life makes for the best comedy. See you on the tour,” he wrote, teasing fans with what’s to come.

Netizens react

As expected, the internet was quick to react. Followers and fans flooded the comment section with messages of support and enthusiasm.

"Waited everyday for THISS," wrote one user. Another chimed in, "This comeback was personal..So happy for youuu."
"THE GOAT IS BACKKK," exclaimed a third. A comment also read, "Seriously... insane comeback man."

Shubham Chawla, who worked with Samay during his North America tour, praised his resilience. “We pulled off one of the biggest tour in the US and Canada by an Indian comedian. The grit to be able to get on stage every day when your whole world is upside down. Major shoutout to my brother for creating a laughter riot during the whole tour.... We are so back,” he wrote.

Still, some fans remained curious about the stalled India’s Got Latent show. A recurring comment was, “When is the new episode dropping?”

What was the India’s Got Latent controversy?

Earlier this year, Samay Raina, along with fellow YouTubers Ashish Chanchlani, Ranveer Allahbadia, and Apoorva Mukhija, came under legal scrutiny after an FIR was registered against them. The complaint accused the creators of promoting obscene content and indulging in explicit discussions on his YouTube show India’s Got Latent. The controversy erupted after a clip featuring Ranveer sparked outrage online for its allegedly insensitive remarks.

As the backlash grew, the show was put on hold. Samay also postponed his scheduled shows in India and informed fans via Instagram that refunds would be issued.
