Saif Ali Khan set to be discharged from Lilavati Hospital
A team of four doctors who operated on and treated Saif Ali Khan has granted permission for his family to take him home. However, the medical panel has made it clear that the decision of when to discharge him rests entirely with his family.
Saif is able to walk and communicate, but his full recovery will take approximately a month. This is particularly crucial for the area on his back where he was stabbed, as a portion of the knife had broken off inside. He underwent cosmetic surgery on the affected region, and it will take about a month for it to heal completely.
Until then, doctors have strictly prohibited him from lifting heavy weights, going to the gym, or resuming film shoots, and stated the need for complete rest. Meanwhile, the medical team at Lilavati Hospital is preparing a detailed prescription, outlining his medication schedule.
