Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Salaar First Poster Out; Actor Sports Rugged Look In Prabhas Starrer

On the occasion of Prithviraj Sukumaran's birthday, the makers of 'Salaar' released the first-look poster of the actor.

New Delhi: Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran turned 40 today. To celebrate his birthday, the producers of the highly-awaited movie ‘Salaar’ offered the first glimpse of him from the film, which also stars Prabhas.

On the occasion of the Malayam actor's birthday, the makers of the film released the first-look poster of the actor. In the poster, Prithviraj's character appears to be dark. He is covered with coal dust and there are marks on his face. Also, he is seen wearing a septum nosering, earrings, and a large iron choker.

Many fans and friends took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and wished the actor a happy birthday. The director of ‘KGF’ wished Prithvi a happy birthday with a tweet that read, 'Birthday Wishes to the most versatile @PrithviOfficial, Presenting' Vardharaja Mannaarr’ from #Salaar.'

To wish Prithviraj by sharing his poster from the film, Hombale Films wrote on Twitter, “Wishing ‘𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐚𝐫’ 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 @PrithviOfficial, a majestic birthday."

On the other hand, Prithviraj also thanked the entire ‘Salaar’ team and tweeted, ''Thank you, #HombaleFilms, #PrasanthNeel, #Prabhas, and the entire team of Salaar! #VardharajaMannaar will see you in theatres on the 28th of September 2023!'.'

Speaking of the movie 'Salaar', which is helmed by Prashanth Neel and will be divided into two parts. The movie's first portion is titled 'Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire'. Along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan and Prabhas will also play the main characters. Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddyy, and Ramachandra Raju all play major roles in the film.

Due to unanticipated factors, the movie 'Salaar' will now have a worldwide theatrical release on December 22, 2023, as opposed to its original September 28 release date. On the work front, apart from ‘Salaar’, Prithviraj will also be seen in a Telugu movie titled ‘Thalapathy 67.
