Parag Tyagi Shares Emotional Video Holding Shefali Jariwala’s Hand: ‘Together Forever’

Television actor Parag Tyagi remembers his late wife, Shefali Jariwala, with a heart-touching video post featuring their dog Simba.

New Delhi: Television actor Parag Tyagi continues to mourn the sudden loss of his wife, actress Shefali Jariwala, who tragically passed away on June 27. Best remembered for her breakout performance in the iconic 2000s song 'Kaanta Laga', Shefali’s untimely demise at the age of 42 due to suspected cardiac arrest has left fans and the entertainment fraternity shaken.

Now, nearly two weeks after her passing, Parag has once again turned to social media to express his grief and love for Shefali, whom he lovingly referred to as “Pari”. On July 10, the 'Pavitra Rishta' actor shared a touching video tribute on Instagram that captured a deeply intimate moment, Shefali’s hand gently held by Parag, followed by a clip showing their pet dog Simba’s paw resting with theirs.

The video was accompanied by the song 'Mere Haath Mein' from 'Fanaa', evoking emotions of eternal togetherness. Parag captioned the post simply, “Together Forever”.

The post stirred an emotional response online, with fans sending prayers and support to Parag.

Earlier, rumours had claimed that Simba had fallen ill due to the shock, but Parag dismissed the speculation by sharing another video that showed Simba participating in rituals, fulfilling duties “like a son”.

Shefali Jariwala's Death

Shefali Jariwala, who gained instant fame with her appearance in 'Kaanta Laga', later participated in reality shows like 'Bigg Boss 13' and carved a space for herself as a television personality. On the day of her death, she was reportedly rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by Parag, but was declared brought dead. The preliminary cause was said to be cardiac arrest, though the official cause remains 'reserved' pending the autopsy report.

Shefali and Parag tied the knot in 2014, and over the years, they became a fan-favourite couple on social media, often posting loved-up photos, vacation snaps and heartwarming moments with Simba.
